Take a cooking class in Cusco!
I have made it a new tradition. Everywhere I travel, I must take a local cooking class. There’s nothing like expanding your repertoire and having a great time doing it!
A cooking class is a perfect way to sharpen your kitchen skills and gain hands-on experience with local market ingredients.
Not only that, but who can resist the delicious dishes you’ve made after all your hard work? You’ll be sure to laugh, learn, and love your way through every moment of your cooking class adventure – plus, take home delicious recipes you can rely on when family or friends come over for dinner.
We had the best time making Pisco Sours and Ceviche and meeting new friends while learning new skills.
I highly recommend this cooking class; we got to tour the local market and shop for our ingredients before hitting the kitchen.
San Piedro Food Market Located in the Heart of Cusco
The San Piedro Food Market is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a truly authentic experience. The market offers countless food stalls specialized in the local dishes of Cusco, so you can get your fill of classic cuisine in a vibrant atmosphere.

Note- Cusco locals love soups for breakfast. Hit the food stalls for a warm bowl of soup one morning. You won’t regret it.
